Wine Bottle Tag and Tiny Gift Bag Favor

Thanks for coming back from yesterday’s post for further details to create these projects! First, let’s start with the wine bottle tag.

The base is Basic Black measuring 8″ x 3″ and scored at 3″ on the long side. I then added a silver patterned paper from the Neutrals DSP Stack that measures 4.5″ x 2.5″. The hole for the wine bottleneck is made with the 1-3/8″ Circle punch and I created a Silver Glimmer Paper ring using the 1-3/8″ and 1-3/4″ Circle punches. I also used the Curvy Corner Trio punch on the top corners of the tag.

The star of the show is the Silver Glimmer Paper flower created using the Festive Flower Builder punch. Here’s a great video tutorial from Stampin’ Up!:

I created it with 8 large petals, 4 medium petals, and 2 of the small double petals. After folding the petals in half (glitter side to glitter side) to give them dimension, I hot-glued the petals onto 1″ circles of cardstock in 3 layers (bottom layer is 4 large petals, middle layer is another 4 large petals, and top layer is 4 medium petals and 2 small double petals). Each layer is hot-glued to the next. It’s so stunning I can’t stop staring at it!

Next, let’s discuss the tiny gift bag favor, which perfectly holds two Dove Chocolate Promises.

This was created using a 4″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper. Perfect for our paper stacks or you can get 6 of these from one piece of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper!

TIP: Punching the holes takes lots of elbow grease, so instead, I put the Gift Bag Punch Board on the ground and punched it with my foot! Punched like butter! But punch with your foot at your own risk! It’s not the intended use of the punch board ;).

Let me know if you have any questions and happy creating!
