Today’s project is a fun any occasion card featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper along with the Pieces & Patterns stamp set!
This card came together quickly! First, I stamped the “hello there” sentiment in Emerald Envy on Whisper White and punched it out using the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. Then I punched a Basic Black 2″ circle, followed by a Crushed Curry starburst using the Starburst Punch. This is an awesome collection of layers and one I will use again and again in different color combinations!
Then, I cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer from the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper and cut it diagonally, corner to corner. What’s great about the pattern I chose is that it isn’t directional, so I was able to have 2 diagonal pieces to make 2 cards! I adhered the diagonal piece to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic Black.
The finishing touches are a silver Metallic Enamel shape and a sweet Basic Black Baker’s Twine bow!
