Today’s project is a mini 3″ x 3″ card that features the Picked For You stamp set!
This is a perfect set for the school year about to start! And I’m a sucker for anything with apples – they were my mom’s (Pixie’s) favorite thing! Someday, when I can find it, I’ll have to share a picture of our kitchen in the house I grew up in – apples in every corner!
I played around with quite a few color combinations until I came up with this finished project. This is a 4-step stamp set: the 1st step is Real Red stamped off once, the 2nd and 3rd steps are Real Red full-strength, and the 4th step is Early Espresso for the stem.
The leaf was die-cut from the Flourish Thinlits in Multipurpose Adhesive-backed Garden Green and is the perfect accent for the apple. I love how it turned out!

I love this as I am a teacher. I have played with it but mine does not look as awesome as yours. (insert sad face). Thank you for your stamping instructions. I am going to try it again. This must not be very popular because I cannot even find one youtube demonstrating it..
