Self-Closing Treat Holder

Triangle self-closing treat holder

Today’s project is a self-closing treat holder! The treat holder requires no cutting or gluing and holds itself together! Love it! Watch out, these are addicting to make! Here’s the group of them that I’ve made so far:

I was inspired by Jane Allmark’s Christmas version of these treat holders – so cute! Here’s a closer look at them:

Here’s how the treat holder opens:

And here’s how it can be stored flat:

Here are a few things that can fit inside: Lindor Truffle, Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, Peppermints, Hershey’s Kisses… and much more! It’s a great little treat holder to have a stash on hand for when you need one! Since it can store flat, it’s a great way to use up some of that beautiful DSP you’ve been hoarding holding onto!

Without further ado, here’s my video tutorial:

And here’s what all the folds will look like if you were to open your paper back up:

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful & blessed day!

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Flowers for Every Season DSP – 6″ x 6″
    • Score on all 4 sides at 2″
    • Follow folds as shown in video!

In Color Gift Bag!

Today’s project is an In Color Gift Bag that perfectly holds one or two rolls of Breathsavers!

Here’s how it opens:

You can actually fit 2 rolls of Breathsavers as the height of the pocket is 1-1/2″! I couldn’t stop at just one, so here are all the 2020-2022 In Colors:

Don’t they all POP with the white daisies? I love the look of these! And they are SO EASY to make and a perfect project to use up your DSP as all it takes is a 6″ x 6″ piece of paper. Without further ado, here is my video tutorial:

And here’s the template for reference (not to scale):

Ornate Garden Mini Gift Bag

Today’s project is another mini gift bag featuring the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Stitched Nested Labels!

How cute are those! The one on the left is tied closed with a bow and the one on the right is closed with a Velcro dot. Here’s a side view:

And here’s a back view:

Which is your favorite! I polled my family and the boys voted for the bow and the girls voted for the flower! I shared a similar project back in March, but I’m obsessed with the size of this mini gift bag, not to mention how easy it is to make, so I made another one!

I love how perfectly the Stitched Nested Label fits this gift bag! I used the 4th largest/5th smallest (depending on how you look at the dies).

Without further ado, here’s my video tutorial:

    • Rotate clockwise and score along the 4″ side at 1″

Sneak Peek – Forever Greenery

Today’s project features products from the Forever Greenery Suite – available on June 3!

I instantly fell in love with this suite! The greens in this suite are just dashing together:

Those greens paired with the gold accents – yummy! The Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper is a MUST HAVE – beautiful intricate designs already laser-cut and ready to add to projects.

I die-cut the sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Dies and added a Gold Gilded Gem (from the Ornate Garden Suite). The sweet bow was created with the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful & blessed day!

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Pear Pizzazz card base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded in half at 5-1/2″
  • Pretty Peacock layer – 3-3/4″ x 5″
  • Forever Greenery DSP layer – 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″

Sunshine – InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate Sunshine, so prepare yourself for projects that are filled with sunny images of joy in the great outdoors. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

When I think of sunshine & summer, my mind wanders to a field of sunflowers! So, I’ve got a sneak peek for you!

Introducing the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle! This beautiful bundle will be available on June 3! For this card, I used Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, and Mossy Meadow – beautiful, earthy colors together. The sentiment is heat-embossed in white and the finishing touch is a Linen Thread bow.

For the main focal point, the sunflower, I first inked up the stamp in Crushed Curry, then I dabbed a Sponge Dauber into Early Espresso Ink then onto the center of the stamp. Alternatively, you could also use an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker! The Sponge Dauber gives a softer transition between colors, but both work great!

I can’t wait to share a little sunshine with someone when I send this card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Joanne Brown at Stamping with JoJo. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
