So in Love – InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! Today’s So In Love Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that share ideas for Valentine’s Day or new products we love. We are excited to share what we’ve made and hope you’ll find great inspiration from our talented team members in this hop. After you read my post, I  hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Today’s card is a flirty card for Valentine’s Day that showcases our beautiful Watermelon Wonder color and the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Die. The heart silhouette in Basic Black really pops against Watermelon Wonder and isn’t that Watermelon Wonder ribbon delicious?? I created an easy “bow” using a Candy Dot Brad Base to not only hold the ribbon together in a bow shape, but to attach it to the front of the card. To prevent the ends from fraying (because I want this card to last a lifetime – haha!), I ran them quickly through a flame from a lighter (lit matches work too!). Did you know our pearls and rhinestones fit on our Candy Dot Brad Bases? I think the pearl adds a sweet touch. Can’t wait to give this card to my hubby :).

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Kelly DeTommaso at Kelly’s Creative Corner. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

  1. Ok, So, the color combination is to die for!!! I am struck with so much from this card…love, flirty, and elegance! Just watch out when you give it to your hubby (HEEHEEEHEEEHEEE!!!!) In all seriousness, your card is beautiful and the pearl in the candy dot bard brings it all together. What a fabulous finishing touch.
