In today’s post, I’m sharing this adorable Origami treat pouch with you! How cute would these be at a baby shower?!? They’d be so sweet as an alternative to place cards, wouldn’t they? These would also be sweet as a wedding favor or a place to tuck a love note to your kids in their lunch bag! Here’s the “boy” baby shower version I made:
This treat pouch was made using a 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper, but you could make this any size. I wouldn’t recommend any smaller than 6″ x 6″ because it’s difficult to fold, but a 12″ x 12″ is a really cool size and can hold all kinds of goodies! I’ve tucked a Lindor chocolate truffle inside these – yum! I had to restrain myself from eating all but one of them so I could use it in my video – haha! Speaking of my video, here it is!
Once you make a few of these, they’re really easy to put together. I think Origami is one of those things that looks hard, but once you try it, it’s easy peasy and the final result is SO worth it. Let me know if you have any questions! If you make one of these, please share! I’d love to see your creation.
Thanks for stopping by today!
