Today’s card is a masculine birthday card using the new Scallop Squares Duo Bigz die from the Holiday Mini catalog. For added dimension on the card base, I used the Sanded background stamp with Crumb Cake ink. I also colored the Engraved Greetings stamp using my Stampin’ Write Markers and then ran that piece through my Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder. The edges are inked with a little Crumb Cake ink.
The final touch is a little piece of twill tape, which I frayed at the ends, folded in half, and affixed to the card using a button and a brad. What do you think?
I’ll be away from The Paper Pixie for the weekend, but I just received a shipment of new stamp sets, so stay tuned next week once I have a chance to play with my new goodies! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
