Baby Steps

Today’s card is a congratulations card for a friend of mine who just had a baby girl.  Welcome to the world, Clare!

The color combination came from the Color Coach (again – I love this thing!) – Perfect Plum, Sahara Sand, and Blushing Bride.  The Baby Steps stamp set is just so sweet – the heart at the end of the mama elephant’s trunk is precious.  And how perfectly do those pearls fit inside the buttons!?

I thought I was finished with the card, but when I looked at it for awhile, it needed a little something more, so I added the heart confetti to the bottom.  I just used a scrap piece of paper to prevent stamping on the Sahara Sand piece (since the card was already put together when I decided to add the confetti).

I have the “can’t waities” for my Dad to get here tomorrow for Thanksgiving – it will be wonderful to have him here with us for the holiday.  Thanks for stopping by!
