Today’s card is my Thanksgiving card for this year. I am so excited, because we’re hosting Thanksgiving at our new house. My Dad is driving down from Cleveland and my mother-in-law and sister-in-law will be with us too! I’m hoping to channel my inner Martha Stewart and turn out a delicious feast – cross your fingers!!
I just cannot get enough of the Day of Gratitude stamp set – it is just beautiful! And the color combination came from the Color Coach – More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant, and Garden Green. For the Garden Green piece behind the Day of Gratitude medallion, I used the Top Note Die and cut the same piece 4 times – rotating 90 degrees each time. The points of the medallion fit perfectly with the Garden Green piece.
I also rocked and rolled the medallion – first in More Mustard and then in Elegant Eggplant. TIP: Always ink your stamp with the lightest color first to protect your ink pads before using the rock and roll technique. What do you think??

I like that color combination. (Thank you color coach!) And I really love how you used the Top Note to cut the Garden Green piece.
