Zig-Zag Paper Medallion

Today’s card features a paper medallion created using a tea bag folding technique called the zig-zag fold.  Here’s a link to a tutorial by Judy Headrick.  Isn’t this a cool technique?  It’s tedious, but the end result is fabulous!

I used 8 punch-outs from the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch and I pretty much followed the tutorial.  I punched out one more circle from Very Vanilla cardstock and I adhered each of the 8 pieces to the circle as I assembled the paper medallion.  This also made it easier to attach the brad in the center.

The sentiment is from a new stamp set from the upcoming Summer Mini!  Thanks for stopping by today!
