Today’s card is a sympathy card that will hopefully brighten someone’s day with these bright and cheery “poppies”! I used the Postage Stamp Punch and used my bone folder to break down the fibers and separate each punch-out into two pieces. Each “poppy” is created by assembling 2 layers and inserting a glimmer brad to hold them together. Once the brad was pushed through, I crinkled up the two layers over the brad to give them a “poppy” look.
To add some dimension to the background, I used the Flower Garden Embossing Folder. To accentuate the embossing, I sponged it with Baja Breeze ink. What do you think?
