Today’s card is inspired by this card by Dawn Olchefske. I didn’t have a lot of time available to make a card, so I needed something quick!
I loved Dawn’s card at first sight – the border around the card is the perfect touch! I used my favorite flower image from the Raining Flowers stamp set and chose to use some of our new In Colors – Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade. To create the border, I cut a piece of card stock to 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ and slowly traced around it with a Stampin’ Write® Marker. To soften the border and the sentiment, I used Basic Gray instead of Basic Black. I also added a couple of spritzes of Frost White Shimmer Mist to pretty it up even more. What do you think?
