Swallowtail Sympathy Card

photo 1-4

Today’s card is a clean and simple sympathy card using the stunning Swallowtail background stamp. I really do love this stamp, because there are so many different ways you can use it! It looks amazing stamped in black or you can watercolor it, use your Blendabilities, stamp it using a mask – I will be trying all of these ways and sharing them with you, by the way :).

This card was inspired by this beautiful card by Brandy Cox. I love the black on white as well as the dimension she gave her butterfly by fussy-cutting a portion of the butterfly as an overlay. Hopefully you can see that in this picture here:

Trying to put your finger on the beautiful silver threads tied in a bow on this card? It’s from our beautiful 1/8″ silver ribbon! All you have to do is cut off one side of the white trim and then you can pull out the silver threads to add to your project! I love finding different ways to use our products!

I wish I didn’t have to make sympathy cards, but I do need them from time to time. This one is for my dear friend and upline, Tina, who just lost her mom to colon cancer. This one hits home for me, since I also lost my mom to colon cancer. Would you mind saying a little prayer for Tina and her family? And if you’re 50 or older (although they should change the recommendation to 40) and haven’t had a colonoscopy, please do so! It could save your life! I’ve had 3 so far with my family history, and they’re not that bad!

Thank you for stopping by today! Let me know if you have any questions and have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
