Today I’m sharing my 2015 Christmas card! It features a gate fold design and showcases the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and coordinating punch, which are available in a bundle to save you 15%. And, good news, this set is NOT retiring on January 4!
To create this gate fold, take a piece of 5.5″ x 8.5″ card stock and score it at 1.75″ and 6″ on the long side. I used the Curvy Corner Trio punch to dress up the corners and add a ribbon slide to each side of the gate for the Silver Cording Trim bow.
The Fine Tip Glue Pen was instrumental in creating this card as well. Have you had problems with your rhinestones shifting by the time they arrive at their destination through the mail? I certainly have. To try to prevent that, I adhered the rhinestones where I wanted them first and then went back with my Fine Tip Glue Pen and circled the rhinestones with the glue to keep them in place (it dries clear!). If you look closely at the picture, you might be able to see the clear adhesive surrounding each rhinestone. I’m happy to report the rhinestones arrived intact and in their intended places!
Funny side note: I’ve been finding glitter EVERYWHERE from the Silver Glimmer Paper I used, but the funniest place I found glitter was in Nolan’s diaper! Haha!
