Today’s card features a few sneak peeks from the new 2016 Occasions Catalog! The star of the show is the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits – to die for! I cut the intricate heart out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and the flowers from the new Blushing Bride Glimmer paper – ooh la la! The sentiment is from a new set called Suite Sayings, which is a must-have set! I cut the sentiment out with one of the dies from the new Rose Garden Thinlits dies.
To keep the Pearl Basic Jewels in place, I used my new favorite trick of adhering them where I wanted them and then, using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, encircling them with glue. It’s difficult to adhere things to glimmer paper, but this does the trick!
I can’t wait to cut more of these beautiful hearts! What do you think, will the Bloomin’ Heart be on your wish list?

Thanks for your response – I used a glue dot and I'm pretty happy with that. Maybe I just wasn't being patient enough with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. 🙂
@Grammy B I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen liberally and set it aside to dry completely. If you still don't have luck with that, a glue gun works great!
Hi – what did you use to get the glimmer paper flowers to stick to the glimmer paper heart? Ive tried multi-purpose and the Fine Tip Glue Pen – but no luck. Thanks for your response.
