Today’s card features the Eastern Medallion thinlits dies to create a beautiful layered medallion!
There are so many ways to use these dies! They coordinate so well with our Layering Circles framelits to give you even more options. The Gold Glimmer Paper piece was created with one of the smallest medallions and cut out with a Layering Circle. The Dapper Denim piece was created with one of the medium medallions and two (2) layering circles for the outside and the inside of the medallion, so that the Gold Glimmer piece could nest inside. There is a method to this madness! Because the large medallion on this card is created with 3 different medallions (small, medium, and large), it is impossible to align the medallions all the exact same way on all 3 pieces of paper (Very Vanilla, Dapper Denim, and Gold Glimmer). Cutting out the center of the Dapper Denim medallion allowed me to be able to move the Dapper Denim and Gold Glimmer medallions around to line up with the Very Vanilla medallion. I hope that makes sense!
Measurements:
- Thick Very Vanilla card base: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″ (or folded in half)
- Fresh Fig layer: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Very Vanilla layer: 3-3/4″ x 5″
