Today’s project is mini coffee cup & gift card holder for Halloween!
I followed Dawn Griffith’s tutorial and had so much fun putting it together! This project features the Spooky Cat stamp set and Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. It’s designed to hold a gift card in the back “Happy Halloween” belly band – how awesome is that! Talk about a special treat for someone!
I ordered these mini coffee cups from Webstaurantstore.com. The cups and the lids are sold separately and in different quantities – cups are sold in quantities of 50 and the lids are sold in quantities of 100! Here are links to each: Mini Coffee Cups, Mini Coffee Cup Lids. They’re pretty inexpensive, so why not?
I’ve included the measurements below for you, which are largely the same as Dawn Griffith’s, but I did change the circle punches I used for the coffee cup lid. I wanted to hide the hole in the lid – a 2″ circle covers it and I just adhered it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I continued to nest smaller circles on top (see supplies list below).
For the mini coffee cup wrapper, I found a cut file (SVG) from Randi’s Crafty Creations to use with my Silhouette. There are other pieces/parts included in that cut file, but you should be able to ungroup everything and remove the parts you don’t need and just cut the wrapper. Otherwise, you can just take apart one of the coffee cups to create a template to use!
QUICK TIP: To line up the 2″ circle punch where you want it, punch a 2″ circle out of scrap paper and adhere it where you want to punch the 2″ circle on your project. Then line up your punch over that scrap piece of paper for a perfect punch-out!
I hope you’ll try making some these – they’re so fun! Have a wonderful & blessed weekend!

I have decorated several of these cups over the years and have had not found a good solution for the lids. Have searched for stirrers and such to fill the hole. Popsicle sticks just weren’t right. Why didn’t I think of a 2″ circle to cover the w(hole) thing?
You are amazing.
Super cute Julie
Ahh, another super cute idea! How do you find the time? You just keep cranking out these adorable projects! Thanks for sharing.
Love this – went to order the cups but the shipping was twice the price of my order. I asked if there could be another “cheaper” way – no…. I’m so disappointed. Spending $16 in shipping is just too much — will have to figure something else out. I’m sad!!!!
I found the same cups and lids on Amazon – packs of 50 with free shipping (Prime). Cost me less then $15 total!
What a special, little cup! I love the little holder – so perfect for this tiny vat covered with vats.
This is so adorable! I have some cups that are now going to be used❤
