Today’s project is a pillow box gift card holder created with the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies!
This project went together very quickly, because the die I used to create this pillow box cuts and scores the paper for you! There are a few parts of paper to remove to put it together, but it’s still quick and easy – and a great way to give a gift card to someone – for any occasion!
This project is glammed up in gold with a few different elements:
- I cut the pillow box pieces out of the gold checkered pattern from Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper
- Gold Faceted Gems on either side of the sentiment add another element of bling
- I cut up a Gold Foil Snowflake into fourths and adhered 2 of the pieces behind the top and bottom of the sentiment
- I wrapped the box with Gold 1/8″ Ribbon
The sentiment comes from Merry Little Labels and is bundled with the Everyday Label Punch at a 10% discount! It’s one of my favorite bundles in the Holiday Catalog. The Everyday Label Punch is a workhorse, because you can do some really cool things with it by layering it (like my project for today) or punching it more than once from the same piece to get different sizes/shapes.
