Today’s card is a birthday card that features Picture Perfect Birthday with the drapery fold technique!

This is a quick and easy technique and perfect to showcase our double-sided Designer Series Papers! And what a great way to use the Bubbles & Fizz paper you can earn for free with a $50 order!
To create the drapery fold, start with a 10″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Designer Series Paper. Make a tick mark along one of the 4-3/4″ sides 3/4″ from the left. Then make a tick mark along the other 4-3/4″ side 3/4″ from the right. Then cut the card stock diagonally from tick mark to tick mark and you’ll have 2 triangular-shaped pieces.
Starting with the wider end, score on the Simply Scored at 2″, 3″, 5″, 6″, 8″, and 9″. Then accordion-fold at each score line to create the “drapery” effect. Adhere to your 4″ x 5-1/2″ card front lining up the 3rd longest “drape” with the bottom of the card and then cutting off the excess. I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you’d like a quick video!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful & blessed day!

This paper couldn’t be more perfect for this pleated fold! Love it!
Love this pleated card, Julie! A video would be soooo nice since I learn better visually than by written instructions.
A beautiful card! I love everything about it.
