Essentials Kit in a Box

Today’s project is an Essentials Kit in a Box!

Here’s what the box looks like:

Here’s a closer look at the top of the box:

And here’s a closer look at the compartments:

Wouldn’t this be an amazing box for teachers, daycare workers, healthcare professionals, first responders, delivery people… and I could go on and on! Everybody needs these essentials! And what a great little random act of kindness!

Without further ado, here’s my video tutorial:

I worked hard at the measurements to ensure this box could be created with one sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock, so here’s the cutting template:

And here’s the template for the box:

If you give this project a try, please share it on social media with the hashtag #paperpixie and I’ll check it out! Or you can always email a picture of your project to me – I love seeing your creations!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Today’s a big day in Stampin’ Up! world – there are lots of new goodies that you can purchase or earn for free through March 31! I’ll create a separate blog post with those details! Have a wonderful & blessed day!

  1. Thank you for this perfect little box. I am making some for the flight attendants on our flight to South Africa in a few weeks. The items inside are perfect too. Love it!!!

  2. Hi Julie. I’ve had this project saved for a while and finally made one yesterday. While shopping today, I bought the items to go in it but the tiny hand sanitizer I got doesn’t fit. Where can I find the smaller rounded one you used for the demo?
I just love your projects. Planning early for Easter and birthdays this year.

  6. Love your box! Great idea! Where do you purchases the plastic sleeves for your 5 x 7 magnetic sheets? I’ve looked on Amazon and can’t them but I have 12 x 12 for my DSP.

  7. Love this for a winter pick-me-up for a friend. I’m sure you already know this but w/o the inserts, the box is perfect for a purse pack of tissues as well. I made both versions and stacked them with your ribbon belly band. Thanks ever so much for the inspo.
