Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around REMEMBER. This word can mean different things to different people – fond memories, respectful tributes, special occasions that we’ll never forget. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
My project for today’s blog hop is a Memorial Day card!

I’ve used a combination of retiring and carryover products. The word “remember” was created using the retiring Hand Lettered Alphabet stamp set, which I will certainly miss, because it’s beautiful and so easy to use! The red ribbon comes from the retiring Ribbon of Courage stamp set. The largest star comes from the retiring Wood Crate dies and the smaller stars come from the Twinkle Builder Punch! All layered together with a Real Red, Blueberry Bushel, and Silver Glimmer color scheme make it a great card for Memorial Day.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Jan Dufour at Stamp Me Silly. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Amazing use of this stamp set, Julie! I love your bold and beautiful card.
I’m a huge fan of Memorial Day & July 4th! Thanks for a great idea for me to case. 🙂
What’s your secret to keeping the letters straight when using “Hand Lettered”? I have the “Make A Difference” alpha set on pg 178 & would love knowing your technique. Thanks!
Your card is perfect, Julie – perfect for the theme and perfect in its design.
A perfect card for the upcoming holiday!
So much power in this clean and simple card. Such a beautiful way to use this month’s theme. You are amazing!
Julie your card is simple, yet powerful!!!
I am always looking for ideas for cards for the residents of our local Vets Home. Will case, if I may. This is just such an effective remembrance. Thanks for the inspiration.
Such a great use of this Hand Lettered set and this ribbon, Julie! Such a great use of this theme word, too! ♥ I’m so happy you hopped with us today!
What a great card. I love the Blueberry Bushel with Real Red combo!
This is a wonderful and beautiful card! You chose a great reason to remember and outdid yourself on the card.
Hi Julie, This was the best “remember” card. It looks beautiful and it is nice to be “reminded” to remember.
“See” you tonight. Have a blessed day. 🙂
