Best Catch Ever!

Today’s project features the Best Catch stamp set!

This is the anniversary card I made for Bryan! He’s not really a fisherman, but he is the best catch ever! 😉 We had a great weekend celebrating our 12th anniversary! Here’s a pic before we had a wonderful dinner and night out!

Back to the card! I used my Stampin’ Blends to color the fish – is it a trout or a bass? I have no idea – LOL! At first, my coloring looked terrible, so I used the Color Lifter to try to blend in and lighten everything and, in the end, I think it turned out okay! After I told Bryan about it, he said, “YOU colored that?” Then, I puffed my chest a little and claimed my artistic masterpiece – LOL! Stampin’ Blends really do make us all look like artists, don’t they? I love them!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful & blessed day!

  1. Thank you for listing the colors you used. My friend has contacted me to make her daughter’s wedding shower cards (50) and they are fishing people. Therefore, I looked at some fishing cards on line and my friend liked your card the best. I will try to do my best at making something similar to your card. I hope it comes out as pretty as yours. Any tips? How did you color your fish? Markers, water color pencils, colored pencils or sponges?

  5. Such a sweet photo! So happy for you. This card is amazing – and you were right to “puff your chest” when he was surprised you colored that. Maybe he’s not watching enough of your Facebook Lives so he can see that talent all the time. 🙂 ♥
