I CASEd today’s project from page 12 of the Holiday Catalog! This sweet little gift tag features products from the Wrapped in Plaid Suite!
Here’s another angle to show you the dimension of that adorable tree!
It’s happens to all of us – we have periods where we’ve lost our stamping mojo. I’ve been super busy lately with little time to craft, so I looked to the catalog for inspiration! To CASE something means to Copy And Share Everything (or variations of that), so I flipped through the pages of the Holiday Catalog and this sweet little tag caught my eye!
It was easy & fun to put together! For the tree, I punched out 4 trees – 2 from the plaid side and 2 from the opposite side of the Designer Series Paper. I scored 3 of them right down the middle – 1 punched from the plaid side and 2 punched from the back side. Because the tree branches on the tree from the Pine Tree Punch are slightly different on either side (not a mirror image), that’s why you punch 2 of the trees on the non-plaid side of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP – then your branches will line up when you put the tree together! Glue the 3 folded ones together and the non-folded one to the back – making sure to line up the branches. I hope that makes sense!
For the sentiment, I inked up part of the “North Pole Delivery” stamp using a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker. I touched up the stamped image with my marker, because Photopolymer stamps are a little tricky to get a solid stamped image using a marker ;).
