3 RAK Projects to Delight

In this post, I’m sharing 3 RAK projects to delight! RAK projects, meaning “Random Act of Kindness”, are my favorite to create, because they are quick, easy, and brighten someone’s day just because! I’m sharing a Mini Sticky Note Holder, a Mini Stroopwafel/Gift Card Pocket, and an Explosion Treat Holder!

This is going to be a meaty post, because I have 3 separate projects to share with you! These are the swaps I created for OnStage, a demonstrator event, that I attended in November! You can easily navigate to each project using the links below:

Mini Sticky Notes Holder

This is a quick and easy Mini Sticky Notes holder that is perfect for craft fairs and a great project for making multiples! The mini sticky notes I used measure 1-1/2″ x 2″, which is a super cute size for throwing in your handbag! They also make great page markers for the catalog!

Here’s another view:

And here’s how the mini sticky notes holder opens:

I used a Velcro Thin Clear Fastener for the closure. Here’s the template for reference (not to scale):

  • Cardstock – 2-1/8″ x 5-5/16″
    • Score on the long side at 1-7/8″ and 3-7/8″ from each side
  • Designer Series Paper:
    • 1-5/16″ x 2″ (2 pcs – landscape)
    • 1-7/16″ x 2″ (1 pc – landscape)

Mini Stroopwafel / Gift Card Pocket

This pocket is sized to fit a Mini Stroopwafel, but it will also perfectly fit a gift card – woo hoo! I know you love the gift card projects!! Here’s how the mini stroopwafel fits inside:

A sweet little treat! This one also has a Velcro Thin Clear Fastener closure as well. Here’s what the back looks like:

And another view from the side:

Here’s the template for reference (not to scale):

  • Designer Series Paper – 5″ x 5″
    • Score on one side at 1-3/8″ and 3-5/8″ (pattern vertical if applicable)
    • Rotate clockwise and score at 1/2″ and 4″

Mamba Explosion Treat Holder

This cute explosion treat holder is sized to fit a 6-stick pack of Mamba Fruit Chews! Here’s how this explosion treat holder opens:

And here’s what it looks like completely open:

This uses a small amount of paper to wrap this treat in a unique way!

Here’s the template for reference (not to scale):

  • Designer Series Paper – 4-3/4″ x 4-3/4″
    • Score on one side at 1-1/4″ and 3-1/2″
    • Rotate clockwise and score at 1-1/4″, 1-7/8″, 3-1/8″, and 3-3/4″
  • Cardstock (belly band) – 1″ x 4-1/4″
    • Creating multiples? Cut a 4-7/32″ (just under 4-1/4″) x 11″ strip of cardstock and score at 1-15/16″ & 3-7/8″ from one side and 1″ & 2-15/16″ from the other side

Without further ado, here’s the livestream replay where I demonstrate all 3 projects for you!

  1. You’re the greatest and your videos are the best. I’ve bought Stampin Up for years and have most of the sets, punches, etc. Can’t get enough of your wonderful creations. I hope to place an order with you soon! Have a Merry Christmas!

  2. Thank you for sharing these wonderful ideas! I am sure I will use them when I make treats every month for the teachers at our daughter-in-love’s school.

  3. Thank you for your many great projects you have recently shared. I’m saving them all. I have made many different ones of yours over time. And during this time of giving gifts and needing vessels to present them, you have given us the gift of your creativity. Thank you Merry Christmas
