Chocolate Gift Box & Pull-Out Z-Fold Card

Today’s projects feature sneak peek products from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, which launches on Wednesday (May 1) this week! I’m sharing a gift box for a pair of Tony’s Chocolonely chocolates and a Pull-Out Z-Fold fun fold!

The Unbounded Beauty Suite is one of my favorite new Suites in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog! It features all 5 of the new 2024-2026 In Colors! These projects are quick & easy to create – the beautiful new products used make them even better!

Tony’s Chocolonely Treat Box

This treat box is perfectly sized for a pair of Tony’s Chocolonely chocolates! I found these chocolates at my local Target and they are so yummy! This gift box measures 1-3/4″ x 3″ x 1″, so I’m sure you can fit other things as well!

I opted to glue the inside tabs to the inside of the box to reinforce the sides, but you could leave them unglued if you prefer tabs! 2 Tony’s Chocolonely chocolates are a perfect fit!

I absolute LOVE the colors and sentiments in the Unbounded Beauty Suite! And the sentiment “You’re a True Blessing” is perfect for a random act of kindness gift!

Here’s the template for reference (not to scale):

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Finished Dimensions – 1-3/4″H x 3″W x 1″D
  • Cardstock (box) – 6-1/2″ x 7″
    • Along the 7″ side, score at 1″ and 2″ from each side
    • Along the 6-1/2″ side, score at 1″ and 2-3/4″ from each side
  • Cardstock (layer) – 1-5/8″ x 2-7/8″
  • Designer Series Paper – 1-1/2″ x 2-3/4″ (landscape)

Pull-Out Z-Fold Card

This Pull-Out Z-Fold card is so fun to make! I was inspired by a reel I saw from MPalmer Crafts and decided to try my hand at making this fun fold – so easy! The little banner to the left of the sentiment is a little trick to hold this fun fold closed!

Here’s what the inside looks like when you open the front flap:

And here’s what the card looks like all they way open to reveal the inside sentiment:

It’s so fun & easy to create and will really be a wow card for the recipient!

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Designer Series Paper (card base) – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
    • Score along the 8-1/2″ side at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White (z-fold) – 5-1/4″ x 8″
    • Score along the 8″ side at 4″ and 6″
  • Designer Series Paper (inside layer) – 5″ x 1-3/4″

  2. Thank you so much for your amazing cards and gift boxes. They are so fun to make. I go to lunch every month with about 20 ladies and each month I make a different box with a goodie for them. They think I’m so smart! I do give you credit. I enjoy making birthday cards and thinking of you cards for friends and neighbors that are single and lonely or having some struggles with life and might need a little cheerful sunshine in their life. Thanks again for your creative ideas. It has brought my card making to a whole new level.
