Tapered Top Treat Box & Double Column Fun Fold

Today’s projects, a Tapered Top Treat Box and a Double Column Fun Fold Card, feature the Reindeer Days Suite Collection! I had so much fun designing these projects. Between the Designer Series Paper and the die cuts from Reindeer Fun, I fell in love with this Suite!

I’m so excited to share these projects with you! The Tapered Top Treat Box is perfect for a table favor and, believe it or not, the Double Column Fun Fold fits in a medium (A2 envelope)! Let’s get to the projects!

Tapered Top Treat Box

This treat box will hold a handful of treats! I comfortably fit 3 Lindor Truffles in it. This treat box is a modified take on a milk carton!

Here’s a look at the side view:

And here’s how it opens:

It’s a good-sized box for treats or a small gift!

And I love the holly dies in the Reindeer Fun Bundle!

I chose to add the sentiment to the flap closure, but you could add it to the box base if you prefer! I hope you’ll give this box a try!

Here’s the template for reference (not to scale):

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Finished Dimensions: 3-3/8″H x 2″W x 2″D

    • Rotate clockwise and score along the 7-3/4″ side at 2″, 4″, 5-1/2″, and 6-1/4″
    • Rotate counter-clockwise and score along the 8-1/2″ side at 3″ and 7″ down to 2nd score line
  • Cardstock (sentiment) or DSP – 1-3/8″ x 1-7/8″
  • Designer Series Paper:
    • 1-7/8″ x 1-7/8″ (4 pcs)
    • 1-3/8″ x 1-7/8″ (2 pcs – landscape)
    • 5/8″ x 1-7/8″ (1 pc – landscape)

Double Column Fun Fold Card

The Double Column Fun Fold is both a card and a decor piece! The recipient would be proud to display this card on their mantel! I had so much fun figuring out the measurements for this fun fold to create from one piece of cardstock AND to fit in a medium (A2) envelope!

Here’s a view from the top of this fun fold:

The back side of this fun fold has a spot for a short note! Adding the circles to the front and back of this fun fold give it stability – it’s so cool how this fun fold works!

The card folds flat:

And will fit in an envelope!

Here’s a closer look at the adorable reindeer on the front of the card!

It’s so cool how the reindeer goes together! Be sure to check out my video tutorial for tips & tricks! I hope you’ll give this fun fold a try – it will really wow the recipient!

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Cardstock – 5-1/2″ x 11″
    • Score along the 11″ side at 1-1/4″, 1-7/8″, 3-3/8″, 4″, and 4-3/4″
    • Rotate 180° and repeat on the other side
  • Cardstock (sentiment) – 5/8″ x 2-3/4″
  • Designer Series Paper:
    • 5-3/8″ x 1/2″ (4 pcs – portrait)
