Today’s projects are a Vertical Easel Fun Fold and a coordinating Lip Balm Treat Box featuring the Splendid Autumn Suite of products! The Lip Balm Treat Box has a peek-a-boo window, which is so cool! And the mechanism on the Easel Fun Fold is “easel-ier” than it looks!

I had so much fun designing these projects! Let’s get to the details!
Project #1
This Vertical Easel Fun Fold card really showcases the beautiful Designer Series Paper. It folds flat for mailing and, when in position, stands up on its own with the sentiment prominently on display thanks to a clever mechanism!
You can see in the photo above how the easel tucks under the Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card. This is made possible by simply using Stampin’ Dimensionals™! The sentiment piece is secured using 2 pieces of folded cardstock as shown in my video tutorial.
All 3 pieces of Designer Series Paper are cut from the same pattern and adhered in order from left to right to showcase the artistic scene of the paper when the card is in easel form on display!
Here’s what the inside of the card looks like:
The card folds completely flat for mailing too!
Have you tried an Easel Fun Fold Card yet? If not, I hope you will now! It’s a great way to showcase a beautiful Designer Series Paper and really wow the recipient!

Lip Balm Treat Box
I absolutely LOVE this little Lip Balm Treat Box! Between the peek-a-boo window showing the lip balm and the compartment inside for a treat or two, this is a great gift box to show your appreciation! Thank you to Stefanie Droop for the inspiration for this treat box!
Here’s a closer look at the front of the treat box:
In the collage of leaves, there’s also a gold leaf, which adds a little bit of texture paired with the Linen Thread “faux bow”. Check out my video tutorial for how I cut the Designer Series Paper to fit the front of this box!
I added a sentiment to the side of the box – and the stamp set had one that was the perfect size! I love it when that happens!
Here’s what the peek-a-boo section looks like without the lip balm:
It’s created by simply make a pair of cuts in the right places and popping that corner section into the box!
Here’s what the inside of the box looks like filled with a pair of Hershey’s Snack Size bars:
And here’s what the inside looks like empty:
Such a cool box! I love it and had so much fun designing it! I hope you’ll give this Lip Balm Treat Box a try – it will surely brighten someone’s day!
