Gift Card Treat Holder & Faux Step Card

Today’s projects are a Gift Card Treat Holder and Faux Step Card featuring the Snowy Wonder Bundle and Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper! This pair of projects can be adapted to use for so many occasions!

Gift Card Treat Holder

This Gift Card Treat Holder is a fun way to give a give card with a little something sweet! This all-in-one treat holder is a great option all year round!

The front flap opens to reveal the gift card pocket:

And the treat side of this treat holder opens at the top and can fit a pair of Hershey’s Miniatures, a Laffy Taffy, or a Hershey’s Snack Size (and other treats as well).

I was purposeful with my measurements so the finished size was square and I added a square die-cut to the back for a written note:

Here’s the template for reference (not to scale):

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

• Box Dimensions – 3-1/2″H x 1-1/8″W x 3/8″D
• Cardstock – 5-1/8″ x 8-1/2″
  • Score along the 8-1/2″ side at 3/8″, 2-3/4″, 6-1/4″, 6-5/8″, 7-3/4″, and 8-1/8″
  • Rotate clockwise and score along the 5-1/8″ side at 3/8″ and 3-7/8″
  • Rotate counter-clockwise and score at 5-1/8″ skipping the middle section
  • Rotate counter-clockwise again and score at 1/2″ and 7/8″ down to 4th score line
• Designer Series Paper:
  • 3-3/8″ x 1″ (1 pc – portrait)
  • 3-3/8″ x 2-1/4″ (1 pc – portrait)
  • 1-1/8″ x 2-1/4″ (1 pc – landscape)
  • 1-3/8″ x 3″ (2 pcs – portrait)

Faux Step Card

This is my first time creating a Faux Step Card and I love it!! It’s so easy! It saves you from having to make partial cuts for essentially the same look!

This card folds flat for mailing and fits in one of our Medium Envelopes!

The white embossing really pops on the Garden Green – I love it! I hope you’ll give this fun fold a try!

• Finished Card Size (A2) – 4-1/4″H x 5-1/2″W
• Cardstock – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
  • Score along the 8-1/2″ side at 1-1/4″ and 5-1/2″
  • Flip to back side and score at 2-1/2″
• Cardstock – 8-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
  • Score along the 8-1/2″ side at 4-1/4″
• Designer Series Paper:
  • 1″ x 5-1/4″ (1 pc – landscape)
  • 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ (1 pc – landscape)
  • 4″ x 3-1/4″ (1 pc – portrait)
• Basic White (inside layer) – 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″
