With my Pixies at OnStage in Long Beach!

I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since 2010, and I still say joining was the best decision ever! Most of the Pixies on my team are hobbyists who simply love the products and enjoy the discount, and that’s a wonderful reason to join.

Here’s exactly how it works, including the fine print, so you can decide if it’s right for you.

What You Get for $100

A $125 Coupon Code

Use it on any order of $125 or more. It’s good for a full year.

Eight Catalogs

Free to add to an order, to keep for yourself or share with friends.

15% Off Your Orders

Everyone starts with 15% off, right from your very first order.

Extra Time to Enjoy It

You have until the end of your first full quarter, plus a bonus month, to reach your first $300.

A Surprise Welcome Box

Just for first-time demonstrators. I won’t spoil what’s inside!

First Look at New Products

See new catalogs first and preorder before everyone else.

Shipping and tax apply to the order you place with your coupon code, just like any other order.

This Month’s Bonus

Join between October 6 and 31, 2026, and you’ll also get $50 in Stampin’ Rewards! They land in your account right after you sign up and are good for three months.

How It Works

  1. Click the Join button. My name will already be selected as your team leader. Accept the agreements, enter a few details, and pay $100.
  2. Watch your email. Once your information is approved, which is usually very quick, you’ll get your demonstrator ID and your $125 coupon code.
  3. Shop! Use your coupon code on an order of $125 or more. Anything over $125 gets your demonstrator discount and counts toward your first $300.

The $300 Quarterly Minimum, in Plain Words

To stay active as a demonstrator, you need $300 in sales each quarter. Your own orders count, and so do any orders from customers and your Paper Pumpkin subscription.

Here’s one of my favorite perks: your first $300 isn’t due right away. You have from the day you join until the end of your first full quarter, plus one more month. Stampin’ Up! calls that extra month a pending month.

Join today and you have until the end of your first full quarter, plus one month, to reach your first $300.

If you join inYou have until
October, November, or DecemberApril 30
January, February, or MarchJuly 31
April, May, or JuneOctober 31
July, August, or SeptemberJanuary 31

What if you don’t reach $300? Nothing scary! Your demonstrator status simply ends. There’s no penalty and no obligation, and I’d be honored to have you stay with me as a customer. If you’d like to come back later, you can rejoin after 45 days.

My honest advice: I never want anyone to feel like they’re buying things just to stay active. If you’re already spending around $100 a month on products you love, being a demonstrator is well worth it. If that’s not you, that’s perfectly okay too!

Why I Love Being a Demonstrator

  • The discount. Save 15% on the products you already love, starting with your very first order.
  • No selling required. You don’t need to teach classes, hold workshops, or have a blog. You get to choose your own adventure and do it your way!
  • You see it first. You get to see new catalogs first and preorder products before they’re available to everyone else.
  • Everything coordinates. Stampin’ Up!’s colors are second to none, and all of the products coordinate. Your paper matches your ink, which matches your embellishments. It takes the guesswork out of creating!
  • Community and friendships. My fellow demonstrators and customers have truly become my family. They are the sweetest, most thoughtful people, and my life is better because of each and every one of them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all! You don’t need to teach classes, hold workshops, or have a blog. Most demonstrators are hobbyists who love the products and enjoy the discount. You get to choose your own adventure and do it your way!

I completely understand the hesitation! It’s an IRS requirement. When you join, you’re technically entering into a business relationship with Stampin’ Up! as an independent demonstrator, even if you’re only joining for the discount.

You enter it on Stampin’ Up!’s secure sign-up form, and I never see it. If you’d rather not enter it online, there’s a paper form you can fill out instead. Just let me know and I’ll send it to you.

One more note: I’m a stamper, not a tax expert! For questions about your own taxes, a tax professional is the best person to ask.

Yes! Orders you place for yourself count, along with any customer orders and your Paper Pumpkin subscription.

You have from the day you join until the end of your first full quarter, plus one pending month. Stampin’ Up!’s quarters run January to March, April to June, July to September, and October to December. The chart above shows the date that goes with the month you join.

Your demonstrator status simply ends. There’s no penalty and no obligation, and you’re always welcome to stay with me as a customer.

Your coupon code arrives by email with your demonstrator ID once your sign-up is approved. You can use it on any order within one year.

Your order needs to be $125 or more to use the code, and the code has to be used all at once. It can’t be split across orders. Anything over $125 gets your demonstrator discount and counts toward your first $300.

You can use Stampin’ Rewards on the same order too. Just know that your subtotal after the rewards come off still needs to be $125 or more.

No. The old Starter Kit shipped free, but the new process works differently. You shop with your coupon code just like any other order, so shipping and tax apply.

They come with you! Your Stampin’ Rewards stay attached to your account when you become a demonstrator, so you can keep using them on your orders. If you ever drop, they still stay with your account.

The one thing they can’t do is pay the $100 to join.

Everyone starts with 15% off, right from the very first order.

There are two ways it can grow, with no pressure to reach either one. If your sales add up to $2,000 within a rolling 12 months, your discount goes up to 20%. And any month you have $300 or more in sales, you get 5% back by direct deposit. Stampin’ Up! calls that a Volume Rebate.

You’ll get the $125 coupon code and the catalogs again, but the Welcome Box is a one-time gift for first-time demonstrators. There’s also a 45-day wait before you can rejoin.

Yes! Once you’ve been inactive for 45 days, you can rejoin with any team leader you choose, and I’d love to welcome you to the Pixies.

I’m always happy to help! Send me a message or email me at support@thepaperpixie.com.
