Village of Cuteness

Today I’m sharing with you the “village” we made at Convention for the +Fun classes they offered.  Presenting my Village of Cuteness…

How stinkin’ adorable are these little houses!?!?!  They’re made with 2×4’s!  We first painted them with acrylic paint and then distressed them using the Distressing Essentials kit inks and the flat rubber stamp that comes in the kit.  Ahhhh – I just love them!  They are proudly displayed in our living room :).

A couple of things I want to point out… Check out the hinges on the Cherry Cobbler and More Mustard doors. They’re made with the Mini Library Clips! – and using Craft & Rubber Scissors, we clipped the ends off of them to make them look like hinges.  Who thinks of these things???  Such a great idea.  Also, the doors and the window box are made with our Wood Sheets and we used the direct-to-wood sheet method (same as the direct-to-paper method) and just applied ink directly to the wood sheets with ink pads.

Any questions, please let me know.  Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend!
