Holiday Treat Holder

Today I’m sharing with you the holiday favors I made for Lillie’s daycare friends.  These were so fun to put together!  I CASEd Mary Fish’s creation – just perfect to hold a Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark square.

These went together in a jiffy!  Simply cut a piece of cardstock to 2″ x 5-1/2″ and punch both ends using the Angled Tag Topper punch (available January 3 in the Occasions Catalog).  Then, add two score lines at 2-5/8″ and 2-7/8″.  I decorated the fronts first before I folded the score lines and then I tied the bows using baker’s twine.  I folded back the sides of the chocolate square wrapper before I slid them into the holder and then added a couple of glue dots between the square and the holder to keep them in place.
