Today’s project is a party favor for New Year’s! My daughter is having a “Countdown to Noon” party at her school, so I made these for party favors :). It holds a yummy Ghirardelli Square (Peppermint Bark to be specific – because you can’t have enough peppermint bark). These are quick and easy to make using a 5-1/2″ x 2″ piece of card stock scored at 2-5/8″ and 2-7/8″ and punched at both ends using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. You can get 10 of them out of a sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock.
Did you know you could stamp on our Gold Foil Sheets? I used Jet Black StazOn and it worked like a charm! And, no, we don’t have gold rhinestones… I colored our rhinestones with a yellow Sharpie to make them look gold.
It’s a super fun sparkly project that’s sure to bring some smiles. Happy New Year!

Such a cute project – they are going to love these little favors. I love the "countdown to noon" idea – what fun for her. I should try it this year (I've not made it to midnight for several years). 🙂
