Today’s project is a mini gift bag created with the Gift Bag Punch Board! I’ve also created a video tutorial for you!
Isn’t it adorable? It holds 2 Dove Promises perfectly! I always love learning new and different ways to use our punch boards. While I gravitate more towards Envelope Punch Board projects, the Gift Bag Punch Board can really do some cool stuff! I originally saw Sam Bracegirdle’s tutorial for creating mini gift bags on the Gift Bag Punch Board and just had to try it!
As I mention in my video, we will break the rules when it comes to the directions for the Gift Bag Punch board. So, ignore the directions and just follow my tutorial (smile). Also, disclaimer – we’ll be punching through 4-5 layers of paper on the Gift Bag Punch Board, so please do so at your own risk. I really did punch with my foot when I made a bunch of these – LOL! I will say that I have made dozens of these mini gift bags and my punch board is still kickin’! Here’s my video tutorial:

- Color Theory Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 6″
- Follow video tutorial for score lines, but once finished scoring, line up the top edge at the 3-1/2″ mark on your Stampin’ Trimmer and trim the bottom flaps.
