Hinged-Lid Box for Hershey’s Nuggets with Video Tutorial

Today’s project is a hinged-lid box that perfectly fits 4 Hershey’s Nuggets!

Here’s what the inside looks like:

Wouldn’t this be a great little thank-you gift for someone? I love that the whole project is created with just a 6″ x 6″ piece of paper (well, technically you’ll have a 1/8″ sliver of paper left over – LOL!). The Petal Garden Designer Series Paper is such a beautiful mix of colors and patterns and this project really showcases it.

The flower on the top of the box comes from the Rose Garden Thinlits dies and is the perfect backdrop for the ‘enjoy’ sentiment – it’s one of my favorite elements on this project. Here’s my video tutorial for you:

Measurements:

• Petal Garden DSP – 6″ x 6″
  • First cut off a 2″ x 6″ piece and cut that into 4 – 1″ x 3″ pieces for the Hershey’s Nugget wraps
  • Then, with the remaining 4″ x 6″ piece, cut of 1/8″ from the 6″ side so you have a 4″ x 5-7/8″ piece
  • Score all 4 sides of the 4″ x 5-7/8″ piece at 5/8″
  • Then, along the 5-7/8″, score at 2-5/8″ and 3-1/4″
