Fancy Fold Gift Card Holder with Video Tutorial

Today’s project is a fancy fold gift card holder featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Stylized Birthday stamp set and Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper!

Here they are up close:

My dear friend, Jackie Beers, inspired this project! See her version HERE. And, while you’re visiting her blog, be sure to check out her other amazing creations!

This gift card holder is so easy to put together! Why have I not tried this until now?!? I will for sure be making many more of these. What a great way to give a gift card and a card all in one! It’s pretty cool how the gift card is concealed. Here’s what the inside looks like:

I put together a quick video tutorial for you to show you how easy this is to make!

What do you think? Think you’ll make some of these yourself? I read and appreciate each and every one of your comments, so I’d love to hear from you! Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

  2. I just came across your blog and love this gift card! This is a great card to make a few in advance and have on hand! Thanks for a great video!

  3. Julie, I’m sorry to ask a dumb question, but I don’t have the layering squares. what is the size of the square that you used for the happy birthday on the white? please and thank you 🙂

  4. Hi Julie,

In one of your posts recently you had info about ordering a personalized stamp (clear photopolymer) from someone. I can’t find that post and wondered if you would send the info to me.
    Thanks for considering this.

  5. Thanks for the instruction video and the great pictures of the cards. I plan to make one of these today. Thanks for sharing!!!

  6. Thank you so much for sharing! This makes beautiful, simple gift card holders! The cutting and stamping are so straightforward I have a hard time messing it up!! That’s a wonderful thing! Thanks again!

  7. Thanks for the idea. We haven’t made a gift card holder for a long time. I am planning on using this for my project in October since I am the hostess for club. Every month we take turns being hostess and doing 1 of the projects. Seems like there is always a need for a gift card holder.
Your tutorial was so easy to follow. So easy to change the paper to match the occasion. Thanks again.
