Mini Matchbox Card Video Tutorial

Today I’m sharing my video tutorial for the mini matchbox card I shared with you last week!

Here are the templates for this project – left is the matchbox base and right is the belly band:

MEASUREMENTS:

  • Matchbox Base – 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″
    • Score along short side at 1/2″ and 1-3/4″
    • Score along long side at 1/2″, 1″, 2-3/4″, and 3-1/4″
  • Belly Band – 1-3/4″ x 4-1/8″
    • Score along long side at 17/32″ (halfway between 1/2″ and 9/16″), 1-13/16″, 2-11/32″ (halfway between 2-5/16″ and 2-3/8″), and 3-5/8″
  • Inside Base – 1-3/16″ x 1-5/8″

  1. This brings back memories! As a child, my mom would let us cover small match boxes with felt and decorate with sequins. These were given to relatives who smoked. (how times have changed – no one in my family smokes) I like your project and will use it to make tiny boxes to fill with goodies. thank you for sharing your idea with us!
