Shadow Box Gift Box for Mini Lotion with Video Tutorial

Today’s project is another shadow box gift box for a mini lotion with the video tutorial I promised you! Here’s another version of this gift box that I shared on my Weekly Wednesday Facebook Live last night:

Here’s what’s inside:

And here’s another angle:

It’s kind of like a book cover that the shadow box fits into. What a great gift to give to someone!

Here’s my video tutorial:

And here are the templates:

  1. This would be such a sweet Hostess or just “thinking of you” gift. Could you give us a link for the lotion so we know it will be a perfect fit? Thanks so much for your precise videos. If you are not a teacher you have missed your calling b/c you certainly have a gift for it!

  2. Julie, I LOVE your shadow box tutorials. I have tried several times (including in a class) to make them without success. I made the Christmas one w/the sleeve and it turned out beautifully. Thank you so much for your teaching style.
I was wondering if there is a trick to how to make different sizes? ie: after I made the travel size for Christmas I needed the next smaller one also. This one I believe is even smaller than that one. I am happy to have found you through the amazing Royal Inking (Brian King) blog hop.
    Thanks for sharing your talent.

  3. Oh my!! That is a really, really awesome gift box and you make it look so easy to do! I’m thinking I really need to try this one out. Hope you share the link for the travel size lotion too. I am completely blown away!! Thank you for sharing!

  4. Such an ingenious little box, I love it. It’s absolutely perfect for those little “thinking of you” gifts for teachers, the hygienist at the dentist office etc. Great job Julie
