Today’s project is a shadow box gift box that holds a travel size hand lotion!
Here’s what’s inside the box:
The shadow box just slides into the outside box for a perfect little gift! One of my fans (Hi, Barbara!) reached out a couple of months ago asking for the dimensions for a shadow box to hold this fabulous little lotion bottle that she orders from Amazon to give as gifts and I was so intrigued I had to order some for myself!
I will include the measurements below, but this project really needs a video tutorial to explain it all. So, I plan to create a video tutorial for this project, but with all the holiday craziness, I need a little bit of time to do so, so stay tuned! The great thing about this project is that you can change it up for any occasion! Hand lotion is a great little gift for any time of year!

MEASUREMENTS:
- Inside Shadow Box – 8″ x 9-3/8″
- Score on all 4 sides at 1/2″, 1-3/8″, 1-7/8″, and 2-3/4″
- Score on both short (8″) sides down to the 2nd score line at 3-1/4″ and 4-3/4″
- Score on both long (9-3/8″) sides down to the 4th score line at 2-1/4″ and 7-1/8″
- Outside box – 5-3/4″ x 6″
- Score along the short (5-3/4″) side at 7/8″ and 4-7/8″
- Score along the long (6″) side at 2-9/16″ and 3-7/16″
