Today’s project is a mini 3″ x 3″ card featuring the Butterfly Gala Bundle!
This card was fun, quick & easy to make! And it’s one of my favorite color combinations! The Designer Series Paper backdrop comes from the How Sweet It Is DSP.
For the Whisper White layer, I first cut it out a piece using the largest of the Layering Squares dies. Then I fed the square all the way into the Butterfly Duet Punch and found that it was a perfect fit and super easy to center the punch (left to right). I wanted it to punch a little towards the top to make room for the sentiment, so I was pleasantly surprised that it worked perfectly – a happy accident!
The How Sweet It is Designer Series Paper was cut to 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ and then adhered to a 3″ x 6″ piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock, scored and folded in half at 3″, for the card base. The Whisper White piece (after stamping) was popped up on dimensionals to give the butterflies some added dimension. The finishing touch was a pair of Glitter Enamel Dots!
