I apologize for my absence here the last 2 days! I had a routine colonoscopy on Wednesday, so between prep and the procedure, I just couldn’t fit blog posts in! My PSA for you today is that if you are 50 or older, please schedule a colonoscopy if you haven’t already! As many of you know, my mama (Pixie) lost her battle to colon cancer when she was just 49 years old. I’ve been having colonoscopies since I was 27 (I’m now 41), so I consider myself a pro at colonoscopies 😉 – LOL! The prep is no fun, but the procedure is a breeze and it’s a small price to pay to prevent the 2nd leading cancer cause of death. So if you’ve been putting if off, schedule your screening now! Now, onto the fun stuff!
Today’s project features the Harvest Hellos bundle!

Similar to my apple treat holder, I created this fun pumpkin treat holder! Here’s a different angle:

Inside it, I’ve fit 2 Hershey’s Nuggets! Now, my previous tutorial was a treat holder using this bundle to fit 2 Mini Ghirardelli Squares. I tweaked this version to hold 2 Hershey’s Nuggets! Here’s how they fit in this treat holder:

I didn’t create a new video tutorial, but the box goes together the same way, just different dimensions (see below)! So, here’s a recap of my previous video:
Here’s the template from the Mini Ghirardelli Square box, so you know how this box will go together, just slightly different dimensions from this template:

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful & blessed weekend!

I thank you so much for this darling box. Every year I make these little treat holders for my cousin to share with the people at the hospital and every year I make the pumpkin one into treat holders for my collage grandchildren and for my trick or treaters. I am working on them now and I just had to stop and say “THANK YOU”
Just found your designs and I bought the stamp set and punch from someone who was selling it. Now I need to make those candy boxes. Thank you so much for the clear and easy directions.
Great job Julie… I’m a 10 yr. colon cancer survivor, so my 4 kids, like you, have to have colonoscopies earlier than they would like!
You are my most favorite designer… I love to recreate your ‘candy’ favors… thanks for sharing all your instructions… your detail is amazing!! God bless!!!
Hugs to you Julie… my dad died of colon cancer as well at the age of 51, so I know the procedure well, as well, but I’m older than you 🙂 Thank you for all of your awesome creativeness; you are truly blessed and love that you share what you love, we appreciate it. Here’s to continued good health and many more years of being a rock star in the creative world for all of us!
I’m so glad you are doing well following your procedure. ♥ This is an adorable project, Julie!
Your project is adorable as ever Julie.
And I truly hope that the results will give you a long life.
Can’t express myself clearly, but you’ll feel the deeper emotion , I’m for sure
