Today’s project is a Triangular Double Pyramid Box featuring the Festive Corners stamp set and Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper!

Both sides nest nicely together to create a beautiful box! I added a little ribbon pull tab to help the recipient open the box as it’s a little awkward to do so without it! Here’s a trio of this Triangular Double Pyramid Box using different patterns from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper:
My inspiration for this box came from THIS German website. I’ve had that project pinned for a long time because I instantly fell in love with it and wanted to “pixiefy” it for you! I couldn’t figure out an easy way to teach you how to make the box base with the 30º and 60º angles (using a set square), so I tried making 2 slightly different sized lids and BOOM! I was so excited with the end result I couldn’t wait to share it with you!

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
- RIGHT SIDE – 5″ x 10″ (portrait if directional pattern)
- Score along the 5″ side at 1″ and 2″ (right side up if directional pattern)
- Rotate clockwise and score along the 10″ side at 3″, 6″, and 9″
- LEFT SIDE – 4-7/8″ x 9-5/8″ (portrait if directional pattern)
- Score along the 4-7/8″ side at 1″ and 2″ (upside down if directional pattern)
- Rotate clockwise and score along the 9-5/8″ side at 2-7/8″, 5-3/4″, and 8-5/8″
- Denim 3/8″ Ribbon – 3″

Oh my goodness! What a beautiful project, thank you for continuing to share your amazing creations, I am so excited to make my own. I made the impossible box yesterday and gave it to the activity director at the long term care facility where my sister lives. They are allowing one designated visitor with social distancing, masks and other safety precautions to ensure the safety of their vulnerable residents. She just LOVED it!
