Today’s project is a shadow box sized to fit 4 Andes Mints for St. Patrick’s Day!

I’d like to thank my friend Candy Ford for the inspiration! She designed a shadow box for 5 Andes Mints and I instantly fell in love with her project and couldn’t wait to create my own!
Here’s a closer look at how I embellished the box:

Here’s how it opens (a sliding belly-band):

And here’s how the Andes Mints are perfectly nestled into their home in the shadow box:

This project would be perfect for any occasion and easy to adapt by changing up the colors and sentiment! What a great table favor for Thanksgiving or Christmas! Without further ado, here’s my video tutorial:
Here’s the template for reference (not to scale):

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful & blessed weekend!

I love this little box!!! I’m a big fan of St. Patrick’s Day so this box and the Andes mints are a great gift idea!! Lots of score lines but the box is pretty simple to do. Thanks for sharing!
Need to find something to fit this little box on my next outing to the shops, as we don’t have Andes Mints here in England. ❤️
Gorgeous little box xx
I love this and have made three already out of different dsp and colors. I assume the the dsp measurement is suppose to read 2 9/16 instead of 1 9/19. I check your posts everyday and love all the ideas you have. You’re amazing!
Thank you so much, Susan! You’re correct – I’ve fixed my goof! ☘️
Hi Julie, I am a SU demonstrator from Chicopee Ma. I have been watching your videos for about 2 months now and I am crazy about all the things you do. I have learned so much from you. I have been a demonstrator for about 2 years. Please keep up the great work. Thanks. Dee
