Today’s project features the Brilliant Wings Dies paired with the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper!
This is card #3 from last week’s livestream. I love the subtle color on the intricate die-cut butterfly paired with the pop of white with the solid die-cut butterfly. The baker’s twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack perfectly pairs with the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper.
The Natural Touch Specialty Paper is like no paper we’ve had before – you really have to see it to believe it. It not only has a wood-grain pattern, but it also has a wood-grain texture to it – and it’s still a lightweight paper! I think the natural wood color pairs so well with Mint Macaron for this card!
I opted not to add a sentiment to the card front, instead I added one to the inside:

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
- Mint Macaron card base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded in half at 5-1/2″
- Basic White layer – 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Natural Touch Specialty Paper layer – 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″
- Butterfly Bijou DSP stril – 1-1/8″ x 3-5/8″
