Mug Cake Gift Box

Today’s project is a Mug Cake Gift Box featuring products from the Peaceful Place Suite! This would make a great teacher gift!

This is a Mug Cake gift box made with the Peaceful Place Stampin' Up! Suite sized to fit a Betty Crocker Mug Treat and the sentiment says May you enjoy the peace of this beautiful season

This gift box is sized to fit either a Betty Crocker Mug Treat or a Duncan Hines Mug Cake (without the frosting packet)! It will also fit 2 Rip Van Wafels too! Here’s a closer look:

You could easily tuck a gift card inside this box! Here’s another view:

And here’s how the box opens:

I’ve added a Velcro closure to it, but you could also have a magnet or ribbon closure as well! I just love the neutral feel of the Peaceful Place Suite! The white, gray, and silver are all beautiful together making this a perfect project for the Winter or Christmas!

Without further ado, here’s my video tutorial:

  1. Julie,
I love the mug box. But when I went to the store I bought tge wrong mix . I didn’t realize it until after I made my first box.
I wanted you to know I got it to work by changing the paper size fron 7 x 11 to 8 x 11 keeping the the other dimensions the same. I have a picture if I can figure how to post it
Love your post and you tube
    Thanks for all you do.
God bless you and your family

  7. Julie, I am loving your boxes and the information is easy to make reference sheets with. Do you have a program for your templates? I like the clean and simple look of it and would like to do that for other boxes I have made?
