Today’s project is a Texture Chic Half Sheet Gift Box featuring the Season of Chic Bundle and Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper!
This is a quick and easy gift box using only half of a sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock! Here’s another angle:
Here’s a closer look at the box lid with all the beautiful textural elements from the Texture Chic Suite:
The gold embossing of the sentiment pairs so well with the gold foil in the Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Rustic Metallic Dot is the perfect addition to pull it all together!

Now, you’ll notice in the video tutorial that I cover the magnets with some Designer Series Paper. This is both for aesthetic purposes as well as utility purposes to keep the magnets in place! After a couple of days, the magnets separated from the glue dots on my original samples, so I came up with a better solution for my video tutorial for you (pictures not updated).

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
- Finished Size: 2-3/4″H x 3-1/2″W x 1″D
- Pool Party cardstock – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- Score along the 5-1/2″ side at 1″ from each side
- Score along the 8-1/2″ side at 1″ and 3-3/4″ from each side
- Basic White cardstock – 2-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ (2 pcs)
- Texture Chic Designer Series Paper:
- 2-1/4″ x 3″ (2 pcs – landscape)
- just shy of 1″ x 3-1/2″ to cover magnets (2 pcs – landscape)
- Petal Pink cardstock – 3/4″ x 3-1/4″
