Trick or Treat, You’re So Sweet!

Today’s project is a Scary Cute Halloween treat pocket featuring the Scary Cute stamp set and Mini Pocket Envelope Dies!

This mini treat pocket is created using the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies, which are a crafty stash must-have! It is sized perfectly to fit a gift card, but lots of fun treats fit too! Airheads, Laffy Taffy, Hershey’s Snack Size, Ghirardelli Squares, and on and on!

My inspiration for this treat pocket came from the catalog! I love finding inspiration in our catalogs. See if you can find the elements in these photos that inspired me ;).

These mini envelopes are so addicting to make – and so easy! To minimize paper waste, start with a piece of patterned paper that measures 4-1/4″ x 5″. Before die-cutting, line up the tabs on the die right to the edge of your paper.

For the fairy princess silhouette, I used the rock ‘n’ roll technique, but I much prefer a more subtle look using Sponge Daubers (I just couldn’t find them at the time!). Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape look so beautiful together – one of my favorite combos!

  1. Thanks for the inspiration! I love your projects and I combined this cute design with a pinch top box adjusted to fit bubbles and candy for my grandsons classmates! I used the glittered washi tape instead of the bow behind the silhouettes to add some sparkle and save some time

  2. Great projects, and as always your presentation is fantastic. Thank you.

I have one question, what candy did you use – looking for something similar that will fit. Again, thank you. Fellow Demonstrator, Lincoln CA 🙂
