Today’s projects, a half-sheet tapered gift box and a slit z-fold card, feature the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper, the Wild Ferns stamp set and dies, and the Magnolia Mood dies. I think the Designer Series Paper really elevates these projects!

Isn’t the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper just gorgeous? It’s my favorite paper in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog! Let’s get to the projects!
Half-Sheet Tapered Gift Box
All you need to create this cute & squatty gift box is a 6″ x 12″ piece of patterned paper! It will hold a handful of treats or a small gift!
I added a Velcro closure, but you could use magnets or punch holes and tie a bow! Here’s how the box opens:
And here’s a peek at the inside space:
This would be a great gift box for a table favor or just a pick-me-up gift for someone! One last look:

This Slit Z-Fold card is sure to wow the recipient! It’s such a cool fun fold card!

Hi there! I tried making the little box but somehow my dimentions seemed very off. I double checked all my measurements and made it twice and still it seems to be the wrong dimentions. The sides came out more rectangle and the flaps didn’t close tightly so something is off. I am scoring with my stampin’ up paper cutter with the scoring blade – does that make a difference? Thanks 🙂
Hi Sara! I double-checked the measurements and they’re correct! Have you had a chance to watch the video? The flaps on the bottom are a little shorter than the full square area intentionally.
Thanks so much, I figured out where I went wrong! Silly mistake 😉
Thank you for sharing looking forward to doing this card
Love the fun fold card and even more, your wonderful instructions for making it myself!
The projects are great for sharing little goodies of various sizes and shapes too!
I so appreciate the easy, detailed instructions. Thank you! Happy Doodles to you,
Bryan and the back-to-school brilliant babes!
Thanks again Julie! You’re awesome!
Hello thank you appreciate all you do. Can’t wait to make since school starting again.
I love the beautiful fun-fold card design and gift bag. Enjoy your day!
Das sieht interessant und fantastisch aus, wie all Deine Projekte! Wird auf jeden Fall ausprobiert! Danke vielmals, liebe Julie!
I love the projects you share…..they are so clever and cute!!! There are two that I don’t see in the blog or project listings…..the “envelope” card and the joy fold card. Were these older posts or have I missed them somewhere. I love the “envelope” card, especially and have made several already. Quick, easy and elegant!!!
Hi Sharon! Thank you so much! I’m working through posts, so those aren’t on the blog yet. Stay tuned!
Love love all that you do, so clever. Your such an inspiration. Thank you so very much.
Cannot wait to try both, love this paper too.
Will have to change out Magnolia Mood as I do not have that .
Your directions are very clear and helpful. Have a blessed week.
Nancy
