Today’s project is a Diagonal Closure Gift Box sized to fit a treat tube of Hot Chocolate Mix and a Candy Cane/Peppermint Spoon!
I’d like to give credit to Britta Timm for the inspiration for this gift box! I was inspired by her for this much smaller version here too! Here’s what this gift box was designed to fit:
I’ve linked to the Peppermint Spoons and Treat Tubes on my FAVORITES Page! And here’s how nicely they fit inside tied together with ribbon:
To embellish the box, I opted to punch holes to tie it with a ribbon closure and add a white heat-embossed tag from Itty Bitty Christmas die-cut using a die from the North Pole Wonder Dies!
Without further ado, here’s my video tutorial:

Welp, I ordered the tubes and the candy canes. Since there were 12 candy cane spoons, I made 12 boxes – whew! As always, your instructions were to perfection. The only change I would make to the directions would be to cut the excess off the ends with the trimmer, instead of scissors. At least, when making 12, I thought it was easier. I decorated a bit differently – I’ll post an infinity shot and tag you. Thank you for posting such creative projects! Now, what to do with the rest of those tubes . . .
Oh my goodness!!!! Such a cute box! Planning to make several! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Emily! Yay!
