This pair of projects was fun and easy to create! I used the “third generation stamping” technique to create the soft flowers for both projects. Let’s get to the projects!
Treat Clutch
This little treat clutch is great for holding some treats, a lip balm, or even Biscoff cookies! I tried lots of things in it, so be sure to check out the video! I’ve shared similar projects here and here!
Here’s a side view:
Here’s how the treat clutch opens:
Isn’t that Blackberry Bliss inside gorgeous?! These treat holders are so fun and easy to make! It’s one of my favorite styles of treat holder – so many options!
Here’s a closer look at how the treat pouch is embellished:
You can really see the third generation stamping with the floral image. And the Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dots are perfect for the flower centers. The flowers needed a little something more, so I added Misty Moonlight leaves from the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder.
I hope you’ll give this easy treat pouch a try!
Here’s the template for reference (not to scale):
PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
- Finished Dimensions – 2-5/8″H x 3-3/8″W x 3/4″D
- Designer Series Paper – 6″ x 6″
- With pattern top to bottom, score at 1-5/16″ from each side
- Rotate a quarter turn and score at 2-5/8″ from each side
- Die-Cut Piece (sentiment) – 1-3/4″ x 3-3/8″
- Score along the 1-3/4″ side at 7/8″
Side Split Fun Fold Card
The Side Split Fun Fold Card is an easy fun fold that still gives you a lot of space to write a note to the recipient! It’s as simple as adding an extra cut to your card base and adhering it in place to create the side split!
You can adjust how wide or narrow you want the side split, but I chose 1-1/4″ so that the card opening would be 4-1/4″ square. You know me and my numbers! There’s always a method to my madness!
Here’s a closer look at the front of the card:
Again, more third generation stamping to allow the sentiment to stand out. The beautiful die-cut piece from Regal Flora just needed a little something behind it to break up the space with the rich Designer Series Paper, so I added a 2-1/4″ square piece of Misty Moonlight behind it.
Easy peasy! I hope you’ll give this fun fold card a try!
PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:
- Card Base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- Score along the 8-1/2″ side at 4-1/4″
- Cut along the 5-1/2″ side at 1-1/4″ from the score line to the edge
- Cardstock Layers:
- 4″ x 1″
- 4″ x 4″ (2 pcs – inside & outside)
- 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ (for behind sentiment)
- Designer Series Paper Layers:
- 3-7/8″ x 7/8″ (portrait)
- 3-7/8″ x 3-7/8″
